Hartlepool MP's expenses found to be the LOWEST in the region

Conservative Party MP Jill Mortimer's parliamentary expenses found to be the lowest of all MP's across Teesside & County Durham


Hartlepool's MP claimed back all her parking charges ON EXPENSES....., but her overall parliamentary expenses bill still comes out the LOWEST in the Tees Valley....


According to official data regarding MP's expenditure, Hartlepool Conservative MP Jill Mortimer paid off all her parking fees charged by Hartlepool Borough Council on expenses according to data provided by www.mpsexpenses.info..


The £300.00 bill for parking fees was part of a number of other chargeable items that the towns MP asked Parliamentary expenses to cover, one of which was a £98.00 fee charged to cover the costs of travelling expenses for a person to attend an interview to work with the Hartlepool MP & a further £58.00 paid for another prospective employee to attend an interview...


Cleaning services in the form of rubbish removal from her constituency office cost £90.00 as well as numerous payments covering her offices Gas & Electricity usage..


County Durham Labour MP Graeme Morris claimed back £220,269.64 last year in expenses


Total expenditure amounted to around £41,000 for a period of eleven months, but comes nowhere near the total expenditure of the nearby Labour MP for Easington Grahame Morris who's yearly expenses bill totalled an eye-watering £220,269.64....


Stockton South MP Matt Vickers claimed back £183,282.03 in parliamentary expenses for the period 1st Feb 2021 to the 31st Jan 2022, Stockton North MP Alex Cunningham claimed back £235,865.00 in yearly expenses, with Middlesbrough Labour MP Andy McDonald claiming back just over £200k in expenses for the same period....
